John Coates is an Irish Elvis tribute artist whose passion and talent have made him a standout on the international tribute scene. Known for his powerful voice and authentic stage presence, John has brought Elvis’s music to life at festivals, competitions, and events across Europe.
His dedication to gospel earned him the title of European Gospel Elvis Champion in 2023, a highlight of his career. John has also showcased his skills on the global stage, reaching the finals of the Norwegian Elvis Tribute Competition in Norway in 2025, where he impressed audiences and judges alike with his dynamic performances.
John attended the Elvis & Co Festival in 2025 for the first time and quickly became a fan favourite because of his excellent vocals and tribute, but also because of his warmth and interaction with the fans.
FUN FACT:
John’s love of Elvis began so early that as a child he would put on “mini concerts” for his family, complete with makeshift costumes and all the moves!
