Hugo Colin, 25 presents a dynamic and professional tribute to the King of Rock ‘n roll with a clear-cut mission statement: Keep Elvis’ memory, image and music alive as Chicago’s own, youngest Elvis Tribute Artist.
With great honour and respect, Hugo re-recreates all genres of Elvis’ early vinyl recordings, film collection and concert footage, by combining the ETA craft of performing alongside the craft of custom-tailoring almost all of his own Elvis wardrobe for his own stage-wear:
- The most time consuming outfit was the gold lame, three-piece suit;
- The most elaborate outfit was the ‘Teddy Bear’ Suit; and
- The simplest to make was the bright blue, two-piece outfit we see Elvis wear backstage at the International Hotel in 1970
By committing himself to this unique craft of being an Elvis Ambassador since kindergarten, Hugo strives to share Elvis’ songs with audiences of all ages – be it in library programs for toddlers, volunteering for our special needs friends, or having a great time poolside with Elvis’ senior fans!
