As a Memphis historian and musician, Jones is extremely well versed in the influences of place, culture, history and musical styles on the artists and their music that emanated from Memphis and the surrounding areas.
As a resident musician at BB Kings on Beale St. and a featured guest performer and speaker at Graceland, Memphis is the consummate musician and storyteller. He is able to both entertain and engage audiences by taking them on a journey into the unique landscape, stories and sounds that shaped Elvis and his peers, giving birth to a new sound that changed and continues to influence popular culture.
