Elvis and Co is pleased to announce its Master of Ceremonies and Guest Performer for our inaugural event – Memphis Jones. A resident of Memphis Tennessee, Jones embodies the essence of the Elvis and Co mission. As a Memphis historian and musician, Jones is extremely well versed in the influences of place, culture, history and musical styles on the artists and their music that emanated from Memphis and the surrounding areas.
As a resident musician at BB Kings and a featured guest performer and speaker at Graceland, Memphis is the consummate musician and storyteller. He is able to both entertain and engage audiences by taking them on a journey into the unique landscape, stories and sounds that shaped Elvis and his peers, giving birth to a new sound that changed and continues to influence popular culture.
