Trent Smith is a young southern entertainer who brings the raw energy and magic of Elvis Presley’s 1950s and early 1960s performances back to life. Widely praised by fans – many calling him one of the best in the world – Smith delivers an authenticity that transports audiences straight into the golden era of rock ‘n roll.
His journey began at just seven years old with a small stereo and a stack of old Elvis CDs. At first, he simply enjoyed the music, but as he began singing along, he noticed something remarkable – his natural tone and rasp mirrored the unmistakable sound Elvis had in his early years. That discovery sparked a passion that would soon transform his life.
Smith immersed himself in studying Elvis’ moves, stage presence, and vocal style. Before long, he was performing at a local karaoke bar, where his talent quickly drew attention. Small gigs around his hometown followed, and soon after, Smith formed his own band.
Today, backed by the Nashville-grade Rip It Up Band, Smith tours across North America, delivering an electrifying and highly accurate recreation of what an Elvis concert felt like during the 50s and early 60s. His performances have earned praise from fans, musicians and even individuals who once worked with Elvis himself.
