VIP Concert 1 – Alex Bird and the Jazz Mavericks

Alex Bird & The Jazz Mavericks have become one of the biggest names on the Canadian jazz scene.  With three original albums released over the last few years, they are taking the vocal jazz genre to new places and new audiences.  In addition to the old classics Bird draws on many musical inspirations; Elvis Presley and his originality are high at the top Bird’s list.  This show will contain a mix of originals, old standards and a few special Elvis songs.
